Penggunaan Media Pembelajaran Intraktif Berbasis Kuis Wordwall Dalam Pembelajaran Al-Quran Hadis di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah

The teaching of the Quran and Hadith at MI Al Jawahir Sampang is still dominated by conventional methods, such as lectures and memorization, which result in decreased student interest, participation, and understanding. Meanwhile, existing educational technologies have not been maximized. This study aims to analyze the use of Wordwall quiz-based interactive learning media in improving student involvement and understanding in Quran and Hadith lessons. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method, and data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the study include a Quran and Hadith teacher, the principal, and five students from grade IV. The key findings of this study indicate that the use of Wordwall, especially the Group Sort feature, has a positive impact on student participation, motivation, and activity during the learning process. Students become more enthusiastic and engaged when the material is presented in a fun and interactive game format. However, the use of this media is still limited and uneven among teachers, particularly senior teachers who prefer traditional methods. Additionally, the school has the necessary infrastructure, such as a 50-inch TV, but there is still a need for teacher training and mentoring to improve the use of technology in the classroom. The implications of this study highlight the importance of enhancing teacher competency in educational technology to create a more interactive, relevant, and engaging learning experience in the digital era.
